I think you will need lots of luck Janet116 in finding someone to sponsor you, either that or you are exceptional company. LOL

You do mean you would pay the people to take you do you Janet? I would think there could be smeone

kind enough to allow you to join them - maybe a family ! and also kind enough to just allow you to pay

your fares, food and accommodation and their company quite free.

There are people with money and lonely people with money;

spending few thousand

in exchange for company and friendship why not.

Also many older people may have medical problems

that they'd rather have someone travelling with them.

If you can save the air fare, you can stay in hostels.They are much better than they used to be and you can have a private room if you like, for a reasonable price. That's how I do it. And I travel alone, using trains and buses to get around.

janet116 is taking a risk there,expecting someone to cough up the money for her company,i would rather pay my own way or not go at all because if they think she is that desperate she doesn't know what trouble she might find herself in,there are some unscrupulous people around

i am going to london,leaving adelaide on the 5th sept to join a tour going to europe on the 7th sept and wondered if anyone else is going from adelaide,i would be interested to hear from anyone,

Maybe in Hot Topics/Forum but I think most read everything. Would be nice if you hear from like minded people travelling at the same time but you will have fun anyway and meet many new friends.

I am sure you are getting excited and starting to sort what to take and what not to take. I would travel light but it is hard not to take too much.

Keep us informed on how you are going and what you did as it is very interesting.
